3 Topicsgateway issue - cluster setup
Hello, For a long time, our Power BI gateway server has run without any issues. We recently added a second server to run in parallel with it. Installation was straightforward, and the new server is now part of the gateway cluster alongside the existing one. During testing, we found that the new server cannot access Microsoft SharePoint locations and returns a timeout error. The only notable difference between the two servers is that the new one is hosted in a different data center. Network tests confirm that the server can reach SharePoint without any problems at the network level. Thanks in advance for your feedback. Can't find an answer to this elsewhere, so trying here: We have four Power BI Gateway servers set up in a cluster however it looks like there is one server that doesn't have any refresh jobs sent to it. It doesn't produce any logs and its memory activity is low when compared with the other gateway servers. As far as I can see it has not been set up any differently to any of the other servers. Its status is showing as Online and the "Distribute requests across all active gateways" box is ticked. Has anyone come across this before?Solved699Views0likes2Comments
