Hi Community, I am facing an issue with custom visuals in Power BI Report Server and would appreciate your guidance. Environment: - Power BI Report Server (on-prem) - Reports created in Power BI Desktop (for Report Server) - Authentication: Windows / Active Directory - Users have full access on the report server Custom visuals used (from AppSource / Get more visuals): 1. Bar and Line Chart with Table Publisher: Kishore Kadhirvelu 2. Advanced Linear Gauge Publisher: MAQ Software Issue description: After publishing the report to Power BI Report Server, these two custom visuals appear BLANK for some users, while the same visuals render correctly for other users. Important observations: - Built-in Power BI visuals work fine for all users - These Visual are free Visual - Only these two AppSource visuals show the issue - Users affected have full access to the report and folder - One user has two laptops: - On Laptop A: visuals display correctly - On Laptop B: the same visuals appear blank - No error message is shown; visuals are simply not rendered This indicates the issue might be client-machine or browser-related rather than report permissions. What I want to understand: 1. Is this a known limitation or compatibility issue with AppSource visuals in Power BI Report Server? 2. Are there any browser, security, or local machine settings that can cause custom visuals to not render? 3. Does PBIRS require additional configuration to support third-party visuals consistently? 4. Should this be handled by Power BI Report Server configuration, Desktop version alignment, or IT/security teams? Any guidance on root cause analysis or best practices for resolving this would be very helpful. Hey All, As the admin, I would like to view refresh history of reports in the Power BI Report Server Web Gui? I found this page in MS documentation that explains how to view the current status of the latest refresh of a particular report, see HERE. However, This is not equivalent to an view that shows refresh history. I'm wanting an admin view that shows history of all refresh schedules and details about their executions. Please let me know if this functionality exists in PBI report server.Solved749Views0likes1CommentPaginated Report throws Sys.WebForms.PageRequestManagerServerErrorException (503 Error)

I have set to enable the Power BI mobile app to connect to Power BI Report Server via application proxy. All works fine until last update Power BI RS to September 2024. I unable to show any reports in Power BI mobile for Android. Navigation works fine in Android and IOS and all reports still works fine in PowerBI mobile for IOS. I have an issue on direct query connections after the upgrade to May 2024 from Jan 2024. I only have a few like this. For the time being I've updated them to an import connections. The sources are just views, so I'm not sure why the error is saying Analysis Services. The sources are like this: let Source = Sql.Database("Server_Name", "Database_Name"), powerbi_source = Source{[Schema="dbo",Item="View_Name"]}[Data] in powerbi_source What I've tried: refreshing the connection in desktop and redeploying (works in desktop) changing the data source credentials on the report manager deploying to a test instance (same error) works from Power BI desktop both in May 2024 and Jan 2024 An unexpected error occurred. Please try again later. ErrorDialogHelperText We couldn't connect to the Analysis Services server. Make sure you've entered the connection string correctly.
