30 TopicsSearch disabled in Paginated Report
Hello, We are currently migrating reports from SSRS to Fabric and encountered an issue in one report that we cannot figure out a solution for. Issue: Search is greyed out for users with non-admin workspace roles. We have a pretty straighforward paginated report with expandable rows, several parameters, and a DirectSQL connection. If we select every option available in every parameter, the report runs fine, but the search field is greyed out as you can see on the screenshot. If I sign into the workspace as an admin, run the report with all parameter optiosn selected, and expand one of the rows, the search becomes available. However, anyone with Member, Contributor, or Viewer roles cannot reproduce this behavior. If we only select a few options in our parameters and run the report, the search becomes available for any user, regardless of their workspace role. We have about 200 reports and have only seen this behavior in one of them. This feels like a bug/limitation based on the amount of data being returned, but I cannot find any documentation about this and the only other thread that mentions this issue has no resolution. Has anyone encountered this odd behavior? We see this behavior in Chrome and Firefox.Solved675Views0likes2CommentsIssue with Paginated Report Access in Acumatica
Initially, I created a paginated report and published it in a PPU workspace, then embedded it into Acumatica. For access, I provided the user with all necessary permissions, including dataset access and paginated report access. Both the workspace and users are on PPU. I am able to view the report without any issues, but the user is unable to see it from the Acumatica screen and is encountering an error. Could anyone please help look into what might be causing this?Solved1.1KViews0likes5CommentsHow to Export PPT from Paginated Report with Editable Tables Instead of Images?
Hi Community, I’m using Power BI Report Builder to develop a paginated report, and I plan to use the exported content primarily in PowerPoint presentations. However, I’ve encountered an issue during the PPT export process: When exporting the paginated report to PowerPoint format, I found that most report elements (especially tables) are rendered as images, rather than editable objects. Only some textboxes remain editable. What I need is to retain the table content as editable tables in the PowerPoint file after export (e.g., so I can change numbers, format cells, etc., directly in PPT). Is there a way to: Export a paginated report from Report Builder to PowerPoint with editable table content? Or any recommended workaround or export format that allows better integration into editable PPT slides? Any help or workaround would be greatly appreciated! I have a large dataset that feeds into Power BI to create paginated reports. I want to use the same dataset and have Power BI display the hierarchical relationship of my data in a paginated report. If I can also have a calculated column showing a status that represents the child row status, that would be idea. Basic example: Task Progress Status Make fruit salad 2/3 completed bananas not available stone fruit obtained passionfruit obtained My actual data is more complex in that progress is measured as Not yet commenced, On track, Minor delay, Significant delay, Completed / BAU. Open to suggestions as to how this could be conveyed for the over-arching task.Solved1.6KViews2likes3CommentsPower BI - Paginated Report not able to render
Hi, I have a paginated report in production workspace which pulls live data from a parquet file which is not working after publishing. What could possibly be the issue and how can we fix it? The report works in the dev environment workspace perfectly though I have attached the error message. Any suggestions or solutions on this will be highly helpful. Hi, In the Paginated Report, there are about 15 columns, but when I export it to PDF or PowerPoint format, only half of the columns appear on a PDF page, causing the remaining columns to overflow and appear on the next page. Please can anyone suggest on the fixes.Solved7.7KViews0likes5CommentsRebuilding SAP BO Report in Report Builder - Multiple Views Question
Greetings, We are migrating from SAP BO to Power BI. We are using Paginated Reports to replace some of the SAP BO reports. Some SAP BO reports have multiple views. Users can export any number of the views at once to various formats. In Report Builder, I have created the views by using parameters to show/hide tables based on the selected value. I can export one view at a time this way. But is there a way to export the data for multiple different parameter values or will users need to manually run and change the parameter value for each view?Solved734Views0likes1CommentData parameter on Paginated report file title.
We have just implemented the paginated report solution for our users who wanted to receive an extraction every day, and they are delighted with the result. However, they want the name of the excel file they receive not to be always the same and to to avoid being overwritten when downloading. Is it possible to add a current date parameter to the file name? This is very useful and something that users are requesting a lot. Thank you very much!Solved1.3KViews0likes4CommentsDynamic Subscription not Available for Paginated Reports
