unnamed user in usage metrics

hi all,

since the first of Sept 2018 we changed some settings like the Creation of Workspaces, publishing reports to the web and some others (Admin portal>Tenant settings) by enabling this to specific security groups. This allows us as admins to have more control over some functionalities.

What is strange is is the fact that since then we see "unnamed users" in our Usage metrics instead of the names of the users.

My guess is that it has nothing to do with the changes we made, but the question remains what needs to be done to solve this.

As troubleshooting, you can use audit feature to export all the useraccount in your organization to check if there're some unnamed account, pleae refer to:https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/service-admin-auditing#search-only-power-bi-activities. Set all the options in Tenant settings and check if this issue still happens. In addtion, it seems like this case: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Service/What-is-quot-Unnamed-User-quot/td-p/391019 has some relation with your issue which haven't be solved yet. If still can't be resolved, you can create a support ticket here to achieve further support.
