schedule refresh for 'dashboard'

Hi guys,

Would be grateful if anyone can help me out.

I found out that with the 'schedule refresh' we can only refresh 'dataset' not the 'dashboard'. I have to manually refresh the dashboard.

Am i doing something wrong or i have to do it from power automate?

Hope to hear from anyone soon!

As far as I know, the source of the data accessed on the dashboard is also the corresponding dataset of the pin in the tile above and the source report of the live page, as long as the dataset is refreshed successfully, in theory, the source of the data accessed on the dashboard is the latest data, but due to the data cache and page cache, the data displayed on the dashboard may not be the latest by default, if you encounter this problem, After opening the dashboard, you can try to click "Refresh visuals" in the upper right corner or hold "Ctrl" + "F5" to clear the cache refresh of the browser page once, you can achieve your needs.

Specific to my above theoretical basis and the background principle of PBI data refresh, please consult this official document in detail:
