I can't schedule refresh 

is there a way to refresh dataset 
dataset imported from sharepoint / excel / sql / ...

Typically you need to select a gateway for on-premise sources first, then enter credentials for cloud sources, THEN it will let you schedule the refresh. If SQL is frequently used in your org, you should have an organizational gateway available to use but you may need to request access to it.
