report not refreshing from schedule refresh

  Hi,   I've got on onpremises gateway, i schedule the report to run at 9am everyday. I've checked the logged it successfully ran at 9am. But when i go into the report, the data is not ref...

    Hi there

    Yes all the Power BI Servers are set to UTC, so when you using NOW() it is based on UTC time, and if you are in NZ that would mean it would be yesterday for most of the day.

    I would suggest offsetting your data with =NOW()+12 which should make it 12 hours later when the dataset refreshes.

desktop works. And shouldn't it be looking at the same source already since if i manully click refresh on powerBI service the dataset would be refresh ?

Hi there

If you would like it to refresh you would need to right click on the dataset and then click Refresh Now

By clicking the Refresh button in the Power BI Service that simply refreshes the cache.
