on premises gateway setup

I am trying to setup on premises gateway (personal mode) in my computer. While setting up the gateway I faced this error "Failed to update data source credentials: The credentials provided for the MySql source are invalid. (Source at farmkartreadreplica.cwaprkbgxhid.ap-south-1.rds.amazonaws.com;farmkart.)" . I need to set autorefresh after setting up the gateway. Please note that when I refresh the same dashboard in power bi desktop , it get refreshed but te error arrised when i am trying to set the dashboard on auto refresh while updating data source credentials.

    Hi salonit 

    Here are a few things you might consider checking or trying:

    1. Firewall and Network:

    Ensure that the firewall and network rules on your computer and network allow the gateway to connect to your MySQL source, especially since it’s hosted on AWS. Sometimes, the network rules might allow Power BI Desktop to connect but block the gateway.

    2. MySQL User Permissions:

    The MySQL user you are using to connect might have permission to connect from your local machine but not from the machine where the gateway is installed. Check the user permissions in MySQL, especially the host from which it’s allowed to connect.

    3. Test Connection:

    When configuring the data source in the gateway, use the "Test connection" feature to ensure that the gateway can connect to your MySQL source with the provided credentials.
