hi guys
I would like to get the data from a excel file on a website and create a connection between power bi and this file to refresh my visuazation and data every time that this file updates, instead of download the file and refresh in a manual way. Is this possible? is there any option to get the file from the website on power bi. (In this case, is not a table on the website. this is a file on the website)
Cheers.
Hi @juangbiestro,
In your scenario, you can place the Excel file in your OneDrive for Business. And in Power BI Service, you can import Excel file data or connect to it, then you can set schedule refresh to update data. For more information, please refer to this article: Refresh a dataset created from an Excel workbook on OneDrive, or SharePoint Online.
