failed to update data source credential

Hi,

I am using sql server data set but to connect sql server it needed client vpn, So i can use it in desktop but when I am publishing the report there is an error occurred I think it's due to that vpn. can anyone tell me how to include that vpn in the gateway.

    Hi Anonymous 

     

    If there is a VPN required to connect to the SQL Server, you will need to install the VPN on the Gateway Server.

     

    I would suggest then logging into the gateway server and install SQL Server Management Studio and make sure you can connect with the required username and password.


    once the above works you can then use the same server name, username and password with the data source connection.
