data source can't be refreshed

Hello,

 

I cant refresh data on power bi service. The error is : Your data source can't be refreshed because the credentials are invalid. Please update your credentials and try again.

 

Failed to update data source credentials: A network-related or instance-specific error occurred while establishing a connection to SQL Server. The server was not found or was not accessible. Verify that the instance name is correct and that SQL Server is configured to allow remote connections. (provider: SQL Network Interfaces, error: 25 - Connection string is not valid)

    validate the credential and look for the setting of your server, can also be that the server doesnt allow external conections, check you hace a gateway installed on the server too, also sometimes the credentials need to spcify the domain in front of the user. look at those points but the message its pretty generic normally that its the credential have a error or one of the points above
