If all users were in a global tenant, is it possible to use multi-geo to store Chinese PowerBI data in a China data location?
or
Is Power BI embedded now available in 21V?
or
any other idea how to keep Chinese Power BI data in Chine without setting up a 21Vianet tenant?
Hi @Anonymous ,
According to the explanation given in the official documentation, it is temporarily not supported to keep China PowerBI data in China while granting global tenant access.
Also even if there is, I don't think that kind of storage is safe if there is no official explanation given in the documentation.

Henry

Hi,
it looks like embedded Power BI for customers in 21Vianet is possible. Does anyone have experience with that?

Well, the answer just says that my idea (using multi-geo PowerBI in global tenant for China) is not working, but I'm still seeking for a solution how to keep Chinese PowerBI data in China while granting users of the global tenant access.
