Why can't I modify refresh frequency for semantic model data?

In PowerBI Service,  is the default refresh frequency one day  for semantic model data ? Why can't I modify it, as it appears grayed out? Is it because I don't have the permission to set this option?...

Hi, Wenlong 

You should configure the gateway link for your semantic model, and after you have successfully configured the gateway link, you will be able to use this program refresh feature.

Thank you reply.   I will learn how to configure the gateway link. It is indeed a problem with my gateway credentials.

    You do need gateways. Gateways play an important role in Power BI Service. A gateway enables Power BI Service to connect to your data sources so that you can configure scheduled refreshes to get the latest data every day at a time you design.
