HI,
Since a couple of days we are seeing errors in our online reports. Visuals that are based on a measure give an error as soon as a filter is set. It is a bit similar to the SAP HANA direct query error but in our case it is on a SQL Server Direct Query source and the error is only present in Power BI Online Service. When we view the reports in power bi desktop they work fine (correction: after installing the januari update of PBI Desktop the error also occurs in the desktop). When I remove the filter the visual is shown correct but as soon as I add a filter the error occurs.
Hope this can be fixed.

Hi @SonjaN,
1. I guess the issue is the same as the known issue listed in Support site. What does your Power BI service host on? You can find it from About Power BI. I would suggest you keep an eye on the status of support site, once the known issue is fixed, please test again in Power BI service and let me know the result.
2. As you mentioned the issue occurs in Power BI desktop January version as well, would you please share the detail steps for us to reproduce the issue? Do you run the desktop installed from Microsoft Store or Download site?
Best Regards,
Qiuyun Yu
