Viewing Report in SharePoint

I linked to a Power BI report in SharePoint using the relevant web part [Power BI (preview)] and I can see it fine. So far so good. But when I asked another user to test they could not see the report. It's almost like the web part isn't even attempting to load anything. No error is displayed. So far I have checked:

Trying different browsers - IE and Chrome

Confirming user has Power BI (free) license - they do

Confirming user has permissions on the Dashboard - they do

Confirming user has permissions on the SharePoint page - they do

I even temporarily gave them a Power BI (pro) license to confirm they could access Power BI directly and load the dashboard and associated report which they can. I have reverted them back to a free license now though.

Any ideas? I'm totally stuck!

ptr Did you create a workspace for this report? I believe I read somewhere along the way here that you need to add a user as a view only member on the workspace for some reason currently as the sharing via dashboard isn't working... maybe while a bug gets worked out... Try that route and see if it works.

I have a Workspace (called O365 Administrators) under which the dashboard, report and dataset sit. I can add members to the workspace (group) which I have done for this user. It shows them as 'member' with the description that 'members can edit Power BI content' so I'm not sure about your read only suggestion?

      It's still not working though.

Is the workspace part of Power BI Premium capacity?

If not, then all users that should be able to see the report needs to have a PRO license. Also in both scenarios they also need to be a member of the workspace where the report resides.
