Users without permission can open report
Didn't find similar post, so here it is. I have quite few reports in Power BI, for different departments. We did set up premissions for each workspace and dataset, and users see only reports they have been given access to. BUT when they put report's name in the search bar in app.powerb.com they can see and open ANY report we have published.
Did any one had similar situation? How this can be fixed?
p.s.We can't use Manage Roles, as some reports are based on common dataset and we only are showing them parts of it and when we try RLS they dont see anything.
Do you mean they can search for reports for other workspaces except the workspace they're in right?
If yes, pleasre review how reports are being shared. If a report is shared directly with a user or a group, they will be able to access it, regardless of workspace permissions. Ensure that reports are not inadvertently shared with unauthorized users.
If no, when users have access to a workspace, they can see all the content within it, including reports.

If yes, pleasre review how reports are being shared. If a report is shared directly with a user or a group, they will be able to access it, regardless of workspace permissions. Ensure that reports are not inadvertently shared with unauthorized users.
If no, when users have access to a workspace, they can see all the content within it, including reports.

We give acces to the workspace to individual users and they open reports through workspaces. Each user has access to very limited workspaces. We do not share reports via links, e-mails ect.
Regadless of access status we found out, that every user can find any report we published through this:
Once you've assigned a user a role to the workspace, they will be able to view all the reports in the workspace, regardless of the role.
