User Metrics Report - outdated & hidden
Thanks for everyone that replied to this thread.
Unforunately I couldn't find a way to manually refresh it, but upon checking the reports today, lo and behold they show the latest data... which is interesting to say the least.
Anyway, for anyone encountering this issue, mine was fixed automatically after a couple of days; just make sure you take over the semantic model feeding the report, so that credentials work.
Hi glearner
What I would recommend doing is going to the report, right clicking on the report and click on view usage metrics. This should hopefully then create the usage metric report within your user context.
Hi GilbertQ , thanks for your input.
That is indeed the first thin that came to mind, however it seems that this report is always linked ot the same semantic model, one that is not updating, meaning the newly created report is also outdated.
There is surely a more intuitive and easier solution I'm still obvlious to

Hi glearner,
Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Fabric Community Forum.
GilbertQ Thank you for your quick response.
Based on the information provided by Microsoft, if the user who initially launched the Usage Metrics Report leaves the organization or is removed from the workspace, the refresh will not continue automatically. You will need to manually resume the scheduled refresh in this case.
Here’s the key point from the screenshot:
“You may need to resume scheduled refresh if... the user who first launched the usage metrics report leaves or is no longer a part of the organization.”
