Usage Metrics
Hi Everyone,
We recently moved to Power BI Premium and at the same time we started to push the App to new users which has been a great feature. However, the new users are not showing up on the Usage Reports? Do we know what is causing this issue?

Hi jfiorillo,
Usage metrics is a Power BI Pro feature. Please check if the new users have pro license.

Hi v-yuta-msft , why is that also needed with PowerBI Premium? All users have view permissions , but only a few persons are Pro users. Usage metrics makes no sense then.
Kind regards.

Thanks but that does not really make sense to me. I still want to see what premium users are using the dashboards.

I think v-yuta-msft has misunderstood your question. Everyone that uses your reports and dashboards will appear in the usage metrics. Something to understand however is that Dashboards and Reports have different usage metrics. I've also noticed that the usage metrics are recalculated/updated once a day. So if you have new users today, you won't see them until tomorrow.
Accessing the Usage Metrics report is what is retricted to Pro Users. They also cannot be published into an App either.
