Usage Metrics Report - Custom - Duplication

Has anyone experienced an issue with custom usage metrics reports, where the view count is duplicated based on the DistributionMethod?

I've taken an auto-generated usage metrics report and then removed the filter for ReportGuid to get a metrics report for the whole Workspace.

But this duplicates some of the numbers.

In the screenshot you can see that there are unique ReportGuid for a single report for both the DistributionMethod of "Sharing" as well as "Content Pack...".

I'm assuming the user is opening the reports from a link that was shared with them, but I don't know why the usage report would count each view twice, or why it gives a unique Guid for the duplicate.  

I wish I could fix it by filtering out the "Sharing" itmes, or the "ContentPack" items, but not all items are duplicated.  I presume this happens when someone connects directly to the PowerBi webpage and then navigates to an app, or if they use the Shared link but then don't use the app.

Any ideas how to get rid of these duplicates would be welcome.
