Hi all
I have been testing allowing users external to the orgnaisation access to an app that I've built. There was an issue accessing but turns out it was a PowerBI general issue that's now been resolved. It was working fine and I can allow external teset users access but I wanted to try turning them off.
I get this error message when I do so however. Does anyone know how we're supposed to unsubscribe users?
I was in the edit workspace area and deleted that member by clicking the trash icon next to their name and then tried to save the settings when the above message box came up.
I need to make sure I can add and remove members with ease if PowerBI is going to work for my organisaiton.
thanks all!
Hi @Anonymous,
I have reported this issue to the Product Team. I will update in time. For reference the Report ID is: 55090345.

Hi @v-jiascu-msft, Happy New Year! Have you heard anything back from the Product Team on this? The issue still occurs.
Hi @Anonymous,
Happy New Year! There were two holidays these days. The progress could be slow. The good news is I found a workaround. The main idea is deleting the external user in your organization. Please follow the steps below.
1. Login to the office 365 portal directly or do as the snapshot shows.
2. Find out the external user and delete it.
VERY IMPORTANT NOTES:
1. Don't delete a wrong user. Or the data will be lost.
2. As far as I know, the external user here aims for sharing. Deleting it won't harm anything. BUT, it's a good idea to consult your Office Admin first.
If you have time, please wait for the fix.
Best Regards,
Dale
