One common issue with shared report links is that authentication may not be properly passed through, particularly when using methods like "Publish to Web" or embedded views. In such cases, users may not be recognized or authorized to access the report data. Additionally, Row-Level Security (RLS) or restrictive dataset permissions can prevent certain visuals from loading if the viewer lacks the appropriate access rights. Another frequent cause is that the person accessing the shared link either doesn’t have a required Power BI Pro or Premium license, or isn’t logged in correctly, resulting in blocked or incomplete report views.
