Unable to provide Owner Access

Hi All,

I am having Power Bi Pro Version. I have developed and deployed a On Premisis Report into the service and the source of developing the report is Excel, and i am using the Personal Gateway.

I am able to share the dashboard link but I am unable to provide the Owner access to other user.

Can anyone help me on this.

There is no Owner access level in Power BI.  Please explain in more detail what you are trying to achieve and where you are stuck.  Note that "dashboard"  is not the same as "report"  in Power BI. Please choose the correct term as needed.

Hi,

The correct term is "Dashboard".

For Example: I am having Power BI Service Pro Licesnse to my account, and so that i will be the owner of that account. I will be having full rights on my account. 

Now my requirement is to share the same kind of access like owner level to other person, so that he will also have the full rights to Deploy, Schedule Refresh etc etc..

Can you please help on this..

Hi, @Sudharshan1919 

If you have an admin role in a new workspace, you can give others access to it by adding them to the different roles. For more information, please refer to this official document.

Give users access to the new workspaces in Power BI 

Currently, only the dataset owner can schedule a refresh.

If other users need to schedule a refresh, they may need to take ownership of the Dataset using the Take Over button on the Scheduled Refresh screen.

What you probably mean is "workspace". Long time ago with V1 workspaces there was an Owner role. Now with V2 workspaces the role is called Admin.
