Unable to Schedule Refresh for Chained Dataset

I have created a "chained dataset" using DirectQuery for Datasets as described here:   https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/connect-data/desktop-directquery-datasets-azure-analysis-services  ...

Hmm thanks for sharing. The credentials are set correctly as I can refresh manually. The one difference between my setup and yours based off of the screenshot is that my dataset is using the Web connector instead of sharepoint.

Unforunately I've tried using a sharepoint connection instead of web but still hit the same limitation.  The dataset continues to work and can be refreshed manually but the scheduled option is still grayed out

    Hi willayd ，

     

    I can't reproduce your issue. Would you please try to just contains one dataset connection in the new dataset to see if the scheduled refresh worked. If the issue is still existing, please go to https://support.powerbi.com. Scroll down and click "CREATE SUPPORT TICKET".
