Tooltip page loading error

Hello, 

I am experience an issue with the tooltip page laoding on a visual.

Basically, I have a line chart and hovering over a certain month, it should show details for that month as a tooltip page. It was working fine till now however it just started showing loading msg on the tooltip. 

 tried using different visual, and also tried uploading file to another workspace. It works well on the desktop however it doesn't work on the service. 

This is also happening for othe reports too. The tooltip works for only one visual. The moment I try howver over the another visual which is using the same tool tip page, I see this error. 

Is anyone else having the same issue?

We have seen on the internal platform that other engineers have reported this issue and submitted it.

The engineers on the product team are now aware and will do their best to resolve the issue. I will update here if there is any progress, so please be patient.

@Joe_Barry Thanks for the reply. 

I am not using a measure at all. It's simply a column from a table which gets filtered automatically based on the mouse hover over the data point on the line chart. so basically power bi would simply get the column value for the selected value on the line chart which will always be a singular value. 

Size of the data is too small as well.

Would it be possible to share a copy of the PBIX if the data isn't sensitive? I can take a look if you wish, it's difficult to see what the issue could be without seeing how things are set up.

Hi @skygold164 

If a visual is taking to long to load, then it could be a number of reasons.

• The DAX calcualtion is complex and it needs a long time to calculate
• Are you using direct query on a large dataset? This could also causing it to be slow
