Hi Team,
I have created a tooltip page in Power BI that contains a Table visual. I have set up this tooltip page to display when hovering over elements in my main report.
However, I am running into an issue when using the report in Power BI Service:
If the Table on the tooltip page contains more rows than can be displayed at once, I am unable to scroll or view the hidden rows in the tooltip. Only a part of the Table is visible, and there is no way to select or scroll to see the full content of the table within the tooltip popup.
This limitation reduces the usefulness of the tooltip when there is a need to display more detailed or longer lists of information.
Is there any way to enable scrolling within a tooltip Table visual in Power BI Service, or are there any workarounds to allow users to view all rows in the tooltip?
Alternatively, are there any best practices for handling longer tables in tooltips?
Thank you in advance for your help!

Hi. No. There is no scroll for tooltips. You can increase the page size of the tooltip to make sure it will render the table without scrolling. If you have too much data, as an alternative to get a good UX, you can add a text below the table (at tooltip page) saying "if you want more detaills you can drillthrough". Then create a drillthrough page for letting the user explore all the rows.
I hope that helps,

A tooltip is not designed for interactivity. You use it for a quick glance at some additional data before it disappears again.
Use Drillthrough if you need a full user interactivity.
