Hi
Wondering if anyone else uses the Timline Slicer visual (custom visual) and is having a similar issue - I have used the visual for a number of years without any issues, but have recently found that in the Power BI Service, all of the slicer visuals have changed in appearance. I have tried refreshing the reports, and re-publishing from the source pbi report file (where visual still appears as it always used to), but nothing seems to fix the issue.
This is how it appears in my PBI desktop report:
...but this is how it is now appearing in all my reports that use this visual in Power BI Service:
I know I can edit reports in PBI Service to restore it to original settings (and this does work), but this adds a huge maintenance overhead, as I'll have to repeat this every time I need to make changes and re-publish any of our original reports that use the slicer (which is quite a few!).
Any ideas or suggestions about why this has suddenly started happening and how to stop it occurring?
Thanks

Hello, we had the same problem on 500+ customer reports since last week (when the January 2025 version of PBI was released...). We started fixing them by ticking the "Show last period" box and unticking all the labels to be displayed.
But as of this morning it looks like all the reports that we hadn't fixed yet are back to normal.
@JRF_PowerBIis it fixed for you too?
Thanks @oduc78 for heads up...and yes(!), having just checked some of our existing reports I can see that they seem to have reverted back to how they looked previously, without me having done anything to 'fix' how the visual displays. Phew!! Was debating whether to start going through all reports on the service and make the changes...very gald I don't need to do that.
There is a support ticket raised with microsoft and they have said fix is to be rolled out first week of Feb...so either they've implemented it early, or they have rolled back one of the updates they applied recently. Either way its a relief!

Same issue here !
We have many reports that use the TimeLine Slicer and this can be very disabling.
Could we already know if the problem has been seen, or even know an estimated resolution date please ?
