The issues with Org Apps

Org apps looked very promising, but there are some crucial issues with it:

1. The fact that Power BI navigation is still visible down the left hand side really makes for a poor user experience

2. Missing audience feature - Yes I know audiences are essentially now seperate apps, but if a user sits in multiple audiences, they now have multiple apps, which is a confusing experience for the user

3. Overview page would be great if we could have more customisation options

Would be great if the apps could incorporate power apps pages into it too, but I know that may be a dream too far

    Gotcha, sorry, I misread that.

Just reading the docs, I'm not sure how I feel about how permissions are assigned either. It makes the objects accessible outside of the app and also no conscious effort is required to share data from other workspaces.

I need to do more research.

      1. I mean the power bi sidebar, where you can select workspaces etc

      2. Im talking orgapps not workspace apps

    Hi, joeparkinson

As you described, the sidebar of Power BI service apps really doesn't provide too many options for users to customize.
If you want this one feature, I think you have the following two options:
    1. Use Power BI embedded, embed the report into your website, and then modify the style of the sidebar with css in the embedded code in Html. You can get the class of the sidebar from the browser console and control the sidebar using CSS.
