The credentials provided for the PowerBI source are invalid. (Source at PowerBI.)

This message keep blocking me from working inside Dataflow content in Power BI Service. I have to reenter my credential repeatedly, but cannot proceed any further when joining tables as such.

Any new update recently from the Power BI Service that you noticed the same issue. Kindly advise.

Thanks and best regards,

R.

I did multiple test case:

It seems that my usual working account failed to cache its credential as everytime the error popped up, I have to sign in again and again and again.

I also noticed the setting used to be Organizational but now it turned to Private somehow someway.

Hi , @rdnguyen

Based on your error situation and message given met, would you like to try to first open the app.powerbi.com using an "Inprivate window" in the browser, then go to the page "Manage gateway and connections":

Then you can try to find the dataflow connection you have already specific in your account because one account can only cache and store one kind of cloud dataflow definiton to one specific path, then you can try to edit credential for this data source again to update the credential and set the privacy setting:

Then you can try to go to the dataflow again to make sure if the error message will pop up again? If still pop up, you can try to delete the stored credential in the page "Manage gateway and connections" and create it again in the dataflow. Thanks!
