The credentials provided for the AzureDataLakeStorage source are invalid - ADLS gen2

Hi,
When trying to update a dataset from Desktop everything works fine, while updating from Service drops the following error:

Data source error: The credentials provided for the AzureDataLakeStorage source are invalid. (Source at https://xxx.dfs.core.windows.net/xxx.). The exception was raised by the IDataReader interface. Please review the error message and provider documentation for further information and corrective action. Table: blob_content.
Cluster URI: WABI-NORTH-EUROPE-I-PRIMARY-redirect.analysis.windows.net
Activity ID: 29af6181-1f70-4c21-9cc5-8b0bcd269a9f
Request ID: 32246d42-0aee-bd6c-c71f-26c611fe3861
Time: 2023-06-02 08:38:56Z

Please note, we have whitelisted the IPs to access the Storage account from PowerBI.
By checking the status of the data connection from 'Manage connections and gateways', I see the connection is 'Online'.

Also, everything worked fine for a week until it started dropping this error today.

Hi @mac_giver

1.You can try to reconfigure the data credentials before validating.

2.Please check whether a data type in your data source has been modified and cannot connect to the data source, you can refer to the following link

Power BI Error : “The exception was raised by IDataReader interface.” – Rohit Vangala (wordpress.com...

3.Try restarting the gateway.

4.Please check whether your Office365 account and Azure account are in the same tenant, you can refer to the following link.

None of these worked for us but thanks for trying !

@Anonymous Thanks for your ideas ! If it was working last week, can it still be a tenant issue ? How do I restart the gateway ?

Hi @mac_giver

Delete the gateway in the Service and add it again.
