We are getting the following error:
"Failure details: There's not enough memory to complete this operation. Please try again later when there may be more memory available."
These reports have been running for months and some over a year. We have not had this issue before. Late last week we started getting these failures. The gateway is only hitting about 30% memory consumption. Is this an issue with Paging in Windows Server or is this a tenant error?
We are using the Pro version. Some of these datasets that are failing are less than 7MB. These reports all refresh fine in the desktop.
Any suggestions before I submit a ticket with MS?
Did you ever find a solution to this issue? We are starting to get the same issue accross several reports/workspaces. Its weird because the reports will succeed about 4 times then fails with this message, and the cycle repeats. It started with one of our smallest reports too. Also on pro.
Hi @AnAnalyst
If that is the case there might be an issue in the Power BI Serivce?
Are you using Power BI premium?
Hi @AnAnalyst
When you open the PBIX file how much memory is msmdrsv.exe to see how much memory it is consuming. If that is very large that could be the potential issue as there is more data?
If that is small I would either log a support ticket, or upload the PBIX to another workspace to test.
Hi @GilbertQ ,
It looks like it's using about 370,309k and up to 640,000k during refresh. These falures are occuring across many different workspaces too.
