Subscribe to Report (Email whenever the data is updated) Issue

Hello colleagues,

We've just recently purchased several Pro licenses for our organization and during this first week I encountered an issue that for 2 days I'm unable to resolve. On Monday I activated the "Subscribe tо Report" function, or in other words, I created a subscription. Initially it was set to send an email every morning around 9. First I included only myself to test it and it worked fine. Second day I included more people and it was another successful test. On Wednesday I decided to change the type of subscription from a set hour to "...email whenever the data is updated, but no more than once per day starting...". It has now been 2 days and no email has been sent automatically. In this period I've updated the dashboard twice (every morning). There's a button in the subscription settings "Send Subscription" which manually triggers the email send. I tried it and the email came in, which confirms that this is not a mailbox problem or anything like that.

I believe my problem here is within the "data is updated" element. I've checked the Refresh History of the semantic model and I can see that each refresh is logged so I'm not sure what else am I suppose to do for Power BI to recognize it as an update.

I consulted Copilot, Microsoft support and the Power BI Learn platform but can't seem to make any progress. I'm looking forward to any thoughts and ideas around here as this seems to be my last resort.

Just to confirm, you have start date and end date correctly and using Repeat configuartion same as in screenshot ?

Also the subscription will be only triggered for first sucessfull refresh (manaul/automated)

Unfortunately, the issue persists. End date field remains buggy and changes dates erratically. Since I cannot find a way to mark this as unsolved, I will raise a new topic.

Hello friend and thank you for responding. Before checking, I was anxious that the cause might be as simple as that and indeed it was. It seems that the end date is set as the same as the start date. This is because I left the End date field blank. Seen below:

I tried it again just now and it turns out that if you leave it blank and save it, it then just fills it with today's date. Seems as even though it does not have a * next to it, it is mandatory. I wish to not have an End date but if I must I'll just select a date in the distant future and that would be the solution.
