Hi everyone,
I have setup a very simple static RLS in Power BI desktop (based on company name). The roles are working fine in Power BI desktop.
The issue comes when I'm publishing the app on Power BI service. I cannot explain why but for some users the RLS is not applying, and for some others it is working. Users are granted access using the audience and not directly form the workspace itself.
Could someone please give me a hint on this?
Thanks in advance!

Hi. One reason that let a user pass RLS is the role at the workspace or permission at the app. RLS will only apply for users with Viewer role for the workspaces or without Build Permission when using the App.
Be sure to check those configurations. When the users have permissions to create things using the dataset it passes rls to let them use the whole dataset.
I hope that helps,
