In the report below we can find that it seems that X=8 left indent and Y=8 is not as such for some controls or rather differently displayed in Desktop and Online versions (see illustration below). Do you have any ideas how to fix that visual error? It doesn't happen with lower control, however (it also have x=8).

try to change the report to "Actual size":
Like this usually it shows the acutal size of the report in Power BI Desktop and in the service. You can then adjust the size of the report if it's too big or small to a specific size.
