Slicer Display Bug

I'm connecting to an Analysis Services Tabular model.

In the slicer if a Date is selected as the default, when the page loads is shows the unformatted Date and does not match the other formats of the other dates.

@pokdbz

I haven't reproduced your issue. The selected date is in correct format as I tested with SSAS Tabular (for both import and live connection mode).

 Please recreate the slicer and try again.

Regards,

In your tabular model change the Format of the date column to "Date" and "Short Date" Format.  This should remove the time from slicer and produce the issue im seeing.

@pokdbz

I still can‘t reproduce it.

It looks like site issue. Does this issue still persist?

@v-sihou-msft

Yes, we are still having this issue.  This happens in the Power BI Desktop and the Web tool.

How can I go about looking into why this is happening?  When I open the connection up in an Excel file it shows the correct format.  Its something about Power BI not the tabular model holding the data.

Thanks
