Sharing a dashboard through app without access to underlying reports
- Anonymous2 years ago
Hi mlvdijl
If you want to centralize the live pages of multiple reports and share them with your customers through a dashboard, it is inevitable that you will have to give the view rights of the corresponding reports to your customers. This is unavoidable because if you remove the read and reshare permissions from the report's manage permissions, then the dashboard will not be visible.
There is another way, even if you don't give read access to the report , you can centralize the REPORT into the app and then send the link to the app to the customer. But this has a problem that it will show all the pages in a report. Also, it is not possible to centralize the content into a report.
