Hello,
We have a PowerBI Dashboard in a premium capacity that has permissions applied to the dashboard itself, and additional restrictions applied via row level security.
We have one user who has asked if we can enable the options for 'Allow recipient to share this report' and 'Allow recipients to build content with the data associated with this report' so that they can embed the dashboard into their own workspace.
What I don't quite understand and haven't came across the right documentation for, is what happens to the Row Level Security if we enable these options? Will allowing them to build content and share give them access to the entire underlying dataset, or will it only let them use data that the RLS has given them access to?
Appreciate any clarification that can be provided for this and I can provide additional detail if needed. Thanks!

Hi @snyms
As long as the user only has got viewer permissions or access to the dataset then the RLS will always be applied.
Which means that even though the user can create reports the first thing that happens is that the RLS gets applied, and then the user can create the report.

Great, thank you for clarifying that for me!
