Setting up alerts for Distribution List

HI All,

Could you please help in understanding setting up of alert which can be sent out to DL(Distribution List). This is need to be achived without using Microsoft flow and Power Automate as project constraint.

I once came across a similar scenario. SInce I was not able to add a DL to the mailing list, I created a Security group in outlook. This when added to the Alert, all the Members of the security group received the alert

Hi Arvind,

This alert has been setup on dashboard based on the thresholud conditions of the KPI using manage alerts and when the condition is met mail will get trigered to the user.

 As per our requirment this mail needs to be sent out to Distribution list (Group of users).  How can we acheive it without using Power Automate or flow.

@Anonymous  I would suggest to try setting an auto-forward rule in your mailbox

Are you looking for Data Alert in Dashboard.

There is no way to add email/DL in Alert
As you do not want to use Power Automate, would suggest to try setting an auto-forward rule in your mailbox. The subject should be same for all mails. Not an ideal way, but helps solve the issue.
