Hi,
I have a large semantic model that has some form of organisation where measures are grouped together under a department like HR, Finance etc. I want to set-up the model in a way where business users can go into one section of the model and all of their tables and measures are there to build reports. Naturally there will be overlaps of measures and tables where the same business function like HR may want some financial information. Is there a way that the same measure can appear across multiple folders but not actually duplicating the measure itself? We are at a stage of wanting to socialise the model so I'm looking for a way to really simplify where the key ingredients are for users to build reports.
Thanks very much
Chris

Hi Cmoore
You're in luck.
If you wish to display the same Measure in multiple folders, without duplicating the measure, you simply need to write all the Display Folder names you want, separatet by semicolons.
Example. To show Measure M_Sales in both folder, "Finance" and folder "Sales", write the following in the Display Folder string: 'Finance; Sales'
