Scheduled refresh for PowerPivot Excel published i...

Hi,

I have Excel file with PowerPivot with external connection to 2 database tables, say Table A and Table B.

Users refresh this Excel file regulary, but refresh takes 50 minutes due to Table A size.

The model is simple - just one key between theses 2 tables.

I was wondering if this Excel file/workbook is published to a workspace as workbook, would the service pickup the connection from that excel?

and would it be possible to refresh or schedule the refresh of that Excel via Services?

my goal is to preserve UI of the excel file but have it refresh faster or scheduled.
