Scheduled Refresh in SSAS Live connection

Hello Everyone,

I am connecting my report to SSAS Tabular model with a live connection method,

Now it is confusing me when I found that I can make scheduled refresh each 1 hour.

 

As I understood from the documentations that, the data is being refreshed once the user access the report itself, and it get refreshed directly from SSAS cube without any scheduled refresh.

So what is the use of this scheduled refresh?

    Hi Anonymous 

     

    This scheduled refresh is for the dashboard tiles if you create a dashboard from your Power BI Report. This will then only refresh the dashboard tiles.
