Scheduled Refresh Issue
Hi lhuy2733
This issue usually happens when one or more data sources used in your dataset lost or don’t have valid credentials.
Since the credentials section is greyed out, it likely means:The dataset was published from Power BI Desktop using a connection type that requires you to republish (for example, if it’s using local files or personal gateway).
Or, you’re not the owner of the dataset — only the dataset owner can edit credentials.
Here’s how you can identify the missing source:
Open the report in Power BI Desktop.
Go to Transform Data → Data Source Settings.
Check if any source shows a warning or says “Not signed in”.
Re-enter the credentials and then republish the report to the workspace.
After republishing, go back to the dataset settings in the Fabric/Power BI Service, and the credentials section should become active again — then reconfigure the scheduled refresh.

Hi,
Thank you. I had a datasource with no credentials and also a file source pointing to a local path.
All resolved now.
