Scheduled Refresh Can't Process SAP BW Date Parameters

Hello

I have an SAP BW source that can refresh without issue in the .pbix, but when trying to refresh from the service I get this message:

"We cannot conver the value #date(2019,09,01) to type Text."

Recently, I noticed in the advanced editor for this source that the date parameters changed from "09/01/2019" to #date(2019,09,01).

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

This was an issue caused by not updating the data gateway. I was using the December PBI Desktop but an older gateway version. The same problem occured when using November PBI Desktop but the newest gateway version. There was a change in formatting between November and December so both had to be on the same version.

HI @ajmonster ,

According to your description, It seems like your parameter type changes then it can't work with previous query steps.
Have you double-check your parameter type or add Text. From function to force convert it to text value?
