Schedule refresh - dataset size issue ?

Hi, thanks to all of the community members.

I am facing problems with the schedule refresh at power bi service.

Is there any dataset size limitation issue to work with schedule refresh at power bi service?
Is this dataset size issue also depends on how I get the data inside power bi desktop like Direct mode OR import mode?
I have power bi premium per user license.

Hoping to get some feedback from expert members.

Thanks.

Yes, there is a dataset size limitation for schedule refresh at Power BI service. The exact limit depends on your license type, as well as the size of your workspace. For example, with a Power BI Pro license, you can refresh datasets up to 1 GB in size, while with a Power BI Premium license, the limit can go up to 100 GB per dataset. You can check the specific limits for your license type and workspace size in the Power BI documentation.

Since you have a Power BI Premium per user license, you should be able to refresh datasets up to 100 GB in size, assuming your workspace size allows it. Make sure to check your workspace settings and ensure that your dataset size is within the limit for your license type.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any further questions.

Hi. Yes there are limits for workspaces and for datasets. In this case the datasets. When using pro the data model max size is 1Gb. When using premium it depends if you have that option turned on. The max size of dataset at premium is 10Gb but if you turn that option on it can grow higher. You can read more details of this at: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/admin/service-admin-manage-your-data-storage-in-power-bi#...

I hope that helps,
