Schedule Refresh Breaks the Report

We have our data in Azure SQL Server. We have configured a Gateway. I have published a Report and Semantic Model to the PowerBI Service. Everything is fine and working.

Now, we want to enable Scheduled Refreshes. The refresh works, at least, it says completed with no errors. However, when we click on the Report, there are slicers that are now blank (not all of them) and various visuals are blank as well.

Our IT group has spent several hours testing various settings e.g. query caching. However, we can't figure why the refresh is breaking the report.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

@WishAskedSooner So, I would save your original report (back it up) and then after the refresh download the PBIX from the Service and compare it to the original. It's really difficult to know what might be going on without more information. Are there query parameters that are being used and changed between environments. Is the Azure SQL Server the original source of the data?
