Schedule Data Refresh Issues with Excel Power Pivot in Power BI

I currently have an power pivot in  excel , uploaded on the power BI App . The Power Pivot uses SQL 2012 Database as a source  I am having trouble refreshing the data on the same .On setting up the credentials as 'Windows Authentication' it says SQLCLI11 only supports anonymous credentials .  When trying the anonymous login it says "SQLCLI11 Provider is not registered on the machine " . I do have the SQLCLI11 64 bit driver on the machine where database exists . Also have assigned read permission to the anonymous login on the database , the credentials still gives me the same error . Can someone please helpout .

      Yes I do have the Personal Gateway installed and its online .

    Make sure your desktop and gateway are the same version. If you update both, they will match and this may solve your issue. It has caused a similar issue for me in the past.
