We have a dataset with on prem SSAS Live connection. Old gateway returned error and the recovery key was required. Unfortunately, we had to install new gateaway. It seems, it's not possible to select the gateway manually in the dataset with SSAS Live connection (https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Service/Change-enterprise-gateway-used-by-SSAS-live-connection/td-p...).
Now we have one old dataset, connect to the old gateweay, old report and dashboard + new dataset, connected to the new gateway (refreshes sucessfully). We also have no .pbix copy of the report, it was created in Power BI Service and download .pbix copy option is not active.
Our goal is to reconnect the existing dashboard and report to the new dataset.
Our potential solutions:
1) reconnect the existing dashboard and report to the new dataset using PowerShell scripts (Power BI API)?
2) delete old gateway datasources so that the old dataset will be automatically connected to the new gateway
3) still any ways to select a gateway manually in a dataset with SSAS Live connection
If the second or third solutions seem to be not officially supported, please, provide any recommendations conecrnig the first one or any other ideas and thoughts.
