SSAS Live Connection Publishing Error

Hello Everyone,

I  am trying to deploy a Power BI report built on live connection to SSAS tabular Model on app.powerbi.com but it is showing me error that "There was a data source access error. Please contact your gateway administrator" . The gateway on my server where my data is showing me "The gateway is online and ready to be used" and in manager gateways it is showing "Connection Succesfull". I've not used any RLS in it. In mapping names I am giving the windows username to replace my email id. Please suggest what am I missing here.

Hi @Pulkit,

>>"There was a data source access error. Please contact your gateway administrator"

I think you need to do UPN mapping settings, it seems like your current account is invalid for AS data source.

please take a look at following link about how to use ssas live connection on power bi service.

Manage your data source - Analysis Services
