Hello !
I think there is a bug when I want to apply a Row Level Security filter on a Dashboard shared on a workdspace using the USERPRINCIPALNAME() on a dimension.
If the Report is Shared on a Specific Workspace the RLS doesn't work ... Whereas if I publish the Report to My Workspace and Share it ...Then the RLS works ...
Would you now why?
Thank you for your help !

Hi @lassuied,
In a app workspace, RLS will only apply to view only members. Please check if members have edit permission in this app workspace. See: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/service-admin-rls#using-rls-with-app-workspaces-in-power-b...

This seems short sighted as not all Report developers should be given global access to data.
Does this mean that if someone in a workspace/Microsoft Teams group is an owner, they will get all of my privileges? When I view the dashboard as an owner of the workspace where I shared the dashboard, it shows my credentials/userprincipalname() instead of the other person's. This seems like a bug.
