Republishing report causes dataset to refresh again.

When i repusblish a report (replace the dataset), it refreshes the data when i upload the report.

https://docs.microsoft.com/da-dk/power-bi/desktop-upload-desktop-files#republish-or-replace-a-datase...

 - the bullet in the bottom of the page.

Is there a way to disable this feature?

i am working with data that is only supposed to be refreshed once a week, hence i do NOT want to refresh it in case i change the report in the desktop format, and then republish it.

Hi , @imlaug

Sorry .There  is no way to disable this feature.

As far as I know it is impossible to  republish your .pbix to service  without  refreshing the dataset  currently.
