Report access

Hi experts!! I have one workspace and I have published a report in it. Workspace access have been given to 15 users for the report. Now I have published another report in the same workspace. Problem...

    Hi, dkbr 

     

    Do not give your report consumers workspace access, instead share specific reports from that workspace with them. 

    If you have  a large number of consumers for say, report A, then create a security group, add the users to the security group, then share the report with the security group.

Hey dkbr ,

 

sharing content (reports and dashboards) is intended by using Power BI Apps: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/consumer/end-user-apps?WT.mc_id=DP-MVP-5003068

You can configure multiple audiences (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/collaborate-share/service-create-distribute-apps?WT.mc_id=DP-MVP-5003068), so that one group of users is seeing the first group and ond group is seeing the second report.
